The currently available room is the largest of the two in the photos (brown walls, 19.5' x 13' with double bed, mattress protector, full size sofa, triple dresser, coffee and end tables, shelves, lamps, closet, desk and computer chair)
This room has a soundproofed ceiling, is quiet, spacious, carpeted, well-lit and comfortable. High speed Wi-fi, central heat with additional individually controlled space heater. Room is naturally cool in summer.
Kitchenette is shared with 1 other student and has counter, sink, cupboards, drawers, freezer, 2-burner hot plate, microwave, 6 slice toaster oven, dishware, cutlery, cookware, small dining table with 2 chairs, sofa, matching swivel chair and coffee/end table. This area is at the opposite end of the homeowners storage area.
Additional sitting room separating the bedrooms has sofa, storage cabinet, 2 dorm size refrigerators, (1 for each student), storage shelves, microwave, lamps.
The full bath (tub, shower, sink, cabinet and storage closet) is on the same level and also shared by the 2 students only.
Homeowners' laundry (washer and drier) are available for use on a limited basis during daylight hours (9-4).
Our three-story home is in a quiet, safe, family-oriented neighborhood that backs onto greenbelt and borders a small parkway/greenspace (viewed from bedroom windows). The park foot path leads directly to 160th St. for easy access to Tynehead Regional Park walking trails, or bike ride to biking trails. Short walk to 104 Avenue/156 St. bus stops and Save on Foods/Guildford Village Shopping Centre. Short bus to Surrey Central station, Simon Fraser University-Surrey Campus; 13-15 minute drive to Trinity Western University.
Mature, professional couple (with 4 married children and 12 grandchildren who live elsewhere), welcome you to our peaceful home in a safe and pleasant neighborhood. Kirk is a Regent College Grad, current Spiritual Director, and lifelong pastor/minister. Lori is a Certified OG Therapeutic Practitioner-Tutor who tutors privately out of our home.
